Nihon Kohden’s Lifescope patient monitors are lightweight, accurate and designed to meet the specifications of a neonatal ICU. Automatic identification of the presence of neonatal cuffs and pressure measurement adjustment with a full range of neonatal cable connectors and cuffs, are available. Nihon Kohden, the inventor of pulse oximetry, has significantly improved their PQI (pulse quality index) algorithm over the years providing increased accuracy with less false alarms.

Philips Respironics® V200 ventilator offers a complete ventilation solution for the neonate. The Bilicheck is a non invasive Bilirubin system that allows the measurement of total serum bilirubin without the need of a blood sample and no risk of infection. Transcutaneous CO2 and O2 monitoring provides critical non-invasive monitoring where frequent blood sampling is not practical.

The SLE 5000 offers conventional ventilation as well as high performance High Frequency Oscillation Ventilation (HFOV) in the same machine. The same patient circuit is used for conventional and HFOV, minimizing risk of lung de-recruitment.
